PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a finder having excellent aberration compensation, a diopter compensation mechanism, high magnification and a high eye point by comparatively simple lens configuration. SOLUTION: A finder system is used for observing an inverted image formed on a primary imaging surface with an objective lens with an ocular lens via a Penta Dach optical system for forming an upright image, wherein the ocular lens is composed of three group configuration having a first lens group with negative refracting power, a second lens group with positive refracting power and a third lens group having positive or negative refracting power in order from the object side (the primary imaging surface side) of the ocular lens, wherein focal distance of the first lens group is expressed as f1, focal distance of the second lens group is expressed as f2, focal distance of the whole finder system when diopter is 1-dpt is expressed as f, a shape factor of the first lens group is expressed as SF1, a shape factor of the second lens group is expressed as SF2, and fixed conditions are satisfied.
