PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembling method of hollow fiber membrane module, in which work for evenly cutting hollow fiber membrane bundles is easy. SOLUTION: This assembling method of hollow fiber membrane module has: a first process for inserting multiple hollow fiber membrane bundles into a cylindrical housing with both ends opened; a second process for inserting an end part of one hollow membrane bundle into every fastening ring in an open state after attaching the fixing tool to any one of the openings of the housing, and closing the end parts of all of the hollow fiber membrane bundles with the fastening rings by closing them; and a third process for attaching a base plate of the cutting tool to the remaining housing openings, inserting one hollow fiber membrane bundle into every hole and cutting the end part thereof.
