PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a falling prevention method capable of preventing the falling of furniture by an earthquake while preventing malfunctions due to vibrations generated daily, a falling prevention device and an electric apparatus. SOLUTION: A vibration sensor 31 for detecting the vibration is provided inside a power plug (second object, mounting part) 3 mounted on the wall of a house (building). A control part 21 operates a driving part 22 on the basis of the detected result of the vibration sensor 31 and moves a stopper 23 from the position of maintaining the state that a spring 25 is shrunk to the position of releasing the spring 25. A support leg 24 is projected to the outside of the electric apparatus (first object, falling prevention object) 1 by the spring 25 and the falling of the electric apparatus 1 is prevented. Since the vibration sensor 31 is provided inside the power plug 3, the vibrations generated daily in the electric apparatus 1 are not detected, the vibrations shaking the entire house by the earthquake or the like are detected, and the falling of the electric apparatus 1 is prevented when an earthquake occurs while preventing the malfunctions.
