The plate support has a support rail (11) with several socket holes (12) so that the two fixed holding bolts (13) with protective rubber caps (14) can be adjusted step by step for different plate thicknesses for easy carrying of plates whereby an angular setting and lever arm with holding handle (15) are located outside the plate being transported. The socket holes are used to receive the two fixed holts with rubber caps and holding handle.
