摘要

Cue reproduction of an important scene can be easily carried out even for a video content to which cue point information is not given. A method comprise a step of acquiring same video correspondence information representing the correspondence relationship between the same videos which are the same partial videos commonly contained in video contents, a step of detecting the areas of the same videos in a video content by using the acquired same video correspondence information when a command of cue reproduction is given and detecting the cue point according to the detected same video areas, and a step of reproducing the video from the detected cue point.
