EXHAUST EMISSION CONTROL DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device which consists of low cost material, is resistant to clogging and blockage of ash component and does not require a special means such as reverse wash and heat and combustion of soot.

SOLUTION: (1) An exhaust emission control device provided with a filter removing particulate matter contained in exhaust gas and having a flexible thin metal or ceramic mesh structure of open ratio 90% or higher installed in an exhaust gas upstream part of the filter (especially a position vibrated by transmission of back pressure pulsation of exhaust gas). (2) An exhaust emission control device having a plurality of the mesh structure arranged with a fixed interval in an exhaust gas flow direction.(3) An exhaust emission control device having open ratio of the mesh structure getting smaller as it goes to downstream direction in an exhaust gas flow direction. (4) An exhaust emission control device having catalyst component including precious metal oxidizing NO to NO2coated on a surface of the mesh structure.
