<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a method for hydrophilizing screen printing stencil carrier, and a method and a coating removal fluid for removing a stencil material from screen printing stencil carrier. <P>SOLUTION: The screen printing stencil carrier is treated with a hydrophilizing agent prior to the application of stencil material. In this method of hydrophilizing of screen printing stencil carrier, the hydrophilizing agent contains ultra-fine oxide particles and a wetting agent.
