PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a system for information superposition display that enable a user to easily recognize the temperature, meaning, and contents of an object, designated standards for the object, etc. SOLUTION: The device comprises a portable information terminal device which has a display section 101, a translucent optical element 102, and an imaging section 104 for imaging a designated area in an actual visual field, is configured to communicate with a computer 120 equipped with an information storage section 122 stored with an image of the object and relative information relating to the object in the form of an electronic information database, an object specification section 105 for specifying the designated object in an image of the imaged designated area, and an information extraction section 106 for extracting the relative information on the designated object from the information storage section 122, and superimposes and displays the relative information extracted through the information extraction section 106 in the actual visual field of an object observed through the translucent optical element 102.
