PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic watering apparatus for a pot simply supplying water and having a simple structure. SOLUTION: An air conduit 1-1 passed through the base of a hermetically closed water storage tank 1 to the vicinity of the upper part is stood and a watering vessel 2 is installed connectedly through a water flow pipe 3 to the lower part of the side. A water discharge port 2-2 is provided in the lower part of the watering vessel 2 having the opened top and a stop cock 2-3 is installed in the part. The water storage tank 1 and watering vessel 2 are placed on a water reserving vessel 4. When water is supplied to the watering vessel 2 after closing the water discharge port 2-2 with the stop cock 2-3, the water storage tank 1 and the watering vessel 2 are filled with water through the water flow pipe 3. When the stop cock 2-3 is removed, the water is discharged to the water reserving vessel 4. When the water surface becomes a state closing the undersurface of the air duct 1-1, the discharge of the water from the water discharge port 2-2 of the watering vessel 2 is stopped.
