PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal digital assistant excellent in portability which enables a user to naturally observe an observation range of wide actual visual field and to specify an imaging range while contrasting a wide observation range. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an image display device 20 for displaying an image frame electronic image defining an image frame of an imaging range capable of being picked up with an imaging means having a photographic optical system, and a combiner 30 for reflecting a light from the device 20 and transmitting a light from the actual field of view in a direction of sight of view of photographer. The image frame electronic image is set so that a pair of parallel lines opposing each other are displayed at a distance in wide angle photographing to define the longitudinal direction of the image frame, and the image frame line is displayed in vertical and horizontal directions in telescopic photographing to define four directions of the image frame.
