PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging display apparatus in which display unit is prevented from being damaged or soiled by protecting the display unit when unused and speedy and smooth photographing preparation can be performed through simple operation when in use. SOLUTION: The imaging display apparatus is included a front side main body 2 facing an object in the case of imaging and a rear side main body 3 provided on a rear side of the front side main body 2, the front side main body 2 is coupled to the rear side main body 3 so as to freely turn around an axial center in the front-rear direction and on the front side main body 2, an opening is formed for exposing, on the front side of the front side main body 2, a lens provided on the rear side main body 3. On the rear side of the front side main body 2, a liquid crystal display screen 11 is provided and at a first position where the front side main body 2 overlaps with the rear side main body 3, the liquid crystal display screen 11 is covered with the rear side main body 3. At a second position P2 where the front side main body 2 turns from the first position at 90°, the liquid crystal display screen 11 is disposed to be exposed on the rear side of the front side main body 2.
