PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method of steering characteristics capable of evaluating the steering characteristics of vehicles. SOLUTION: The evaluation method of steering characteristics includes a steering torque-providing process providing the steering torque changing in the waveform of a predetermined shape with respect to a steering machine, a steering angle detecting process of detecting the steering angle of the steering machine changing with respect to the steering torque provided, and an evaluation process for evaluating the steering features, by using the steering angle features for the steering torque detected.
