PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide yellow toner without losing fixing intensity even in a non-contact fixing type printer by possessing high chroma and excellent yellow color, and to provide an image forming method using the yellow toner. SOLUTION: In the yellow toner containing a binder resin and a coloring agent, the coloring agent contains C.I. pigment yellow 214 and C.I. pigment yellow 139.
