PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating field apparatus, having high linearity (torque curve which sets the horizontal axis as a current), a low leakage inductance (low saturation characteristics and a high maximum rotating speed) and especially low torque ripples. SOLUTION: Each module formed in the primary side (20) has odd number of teeth (25) and at least three teeth (25). A coil (30) having a reverse direction is provided for a tooth which adjoins each module (20) of both directly (25).
