PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional map system in which an appropriate visual point position is set so that a point of gaze can be always viewed from a visual point even if a swelling object exists. SOLUTION: A swelling object determination means 4a determines whether the swelling object such as a mountain and a hill which interrupts a visual line from the reference visual point position B to the position A of the point of gaze, exists or not. When the swelling object 7 exists, a visual point position changing means 4b obtains a visual point position B' which is positioned upper than the visual point position B and in which the visual line connecting to the position A of the point of gaze is not interrupted by the swelling object 7, and display is performed based on the new visual point position B'.
