PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning agent imparting good drying promotion effect to a hard surface of a place equipped with a water supply and having excellent liquid stability. SOLUTION: The cleaning agent for hard surface contains (a) a polymer compound containing a constitutional unit (a1) expressed by general formula (1) and a constitutional unit (a2) expressed by general formula (2) (R is a 1-3C alkyl) such as polyvinyl alcohol, (b) a cationic surfactant and (c) water.
