PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent that calcium contents for protecting the surfaces of fruits are adhered to the surfaces and misunderstood as left agrochemicals. SOLUTION: This calcium-containing spraying agent contains a water-soluble organic acid calcium salt and a lignin sulfonate as essential ingredients. The calcium-containing spraying agent is applied to the surfaces of plants as a solution having a proper concentration. The spraying agent solution is quickly dried to leave a part of the ingredients on the surfaces of the fruits. The residues are approximately transparent, and are liable not to be misunderstood as "left agrochemicals". The agent left on the surfaces of the fruits acts as coatings and prevents that the surfaces of the fruits are contacted with the leaves of plants and the like and thereby damaged. In addition, the absorbed calcium strengthens the pericaps of the fruits, thereby preventing the damages of the surfaces of the fruits. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
