PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bactericide composition which has a stable and high pest control effect on crop plants infected with plant diseases. SOLUTION: The bactericide composition for agricultural or horticultural use comprises (a) an indole compound represented by formula (I): (wherein, R1and R2each independently represents an alkyl or the like; Y represents H, a halogen or the like; R3and R4each independently represents H, an alkyl or the like; and R5, R6, R7and R8each independently represents H, a halogen or the like) and (b) at least one other bactericide selected from dimethomorph, chlorothalonil, copper compounds, iprovalicarb, zoxamide, phosphorous acid or salts thereof, fluazinam, cyazofamid, flumorph, benthiavalicarb, ethaboxam, methalaxyl-M, and benalaxyl-M.
