PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain structure of an air conditioner for an automobile, surely preventing entering of water and suction of bad smell at the time of taking the inside air, and having comparatively simple structure. SOLUTION: A rotating shaft 18 supporting an inside and outside air switching door 15 in an inside and outside air switching box 10 is provided with a packing 25 interlocking with the inside and outside air switching door 15 to open and close the drain opening 24. Thus, when the inside and outside air switching door 15 is turned to the outside air taking side, the outside air is taken through an outside air intake port 14, and the packing 25 mounted on the turing shaft 18 is separated from the drain opening 24 to open the drain opening 24. On the contrary, when the inside and outside air switching door 15 is turned to the inside air taking side, the inside air is taken through the inside air intake port 13, and the packing 25 is pressed to the drain opening 24 to seal the drain opening 24.
