摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print pressure application mechanism which can easily set a uniform gap without using a member such as shim and requiring skills, and obtain a successful engagement/disengagement state between a rocking member and an engagement member, and a printing device with the print pressure application mechanism. SOLUTION: This printing device has a diameter reduction region 17e with a slightly smaller radius formed in a part of a maximum diametral part 17c of a print pressure cam 17 which rocks a rocking arm 5 for supporting a press roller 103 opposite to a printing drum 101. A securing screw 12 is fastened by bringing the hook part 9b of a rocking arm stopper 9 into contact with the tip part 5d of the rocking arm 5 by loosening the securing screw 12, in a state that a cam follower 5b is positioned in the diametral reduction region 17e. When the cam follower 5b is positioned in the maximum diametral part 17c, the gap between the hook part 9b and the tip part 5d measures equal to a targeted size G which precisely allows a locking or unlocking action by the rocking arm stopper 9 to be smoothly put into practice.
