PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical shaping method constituted so as to be capable of manufacturing a three-dimensional shaped product, which has a horizontal hole, a hollow part, an uneven part and the like without causing shape failure such as the closure, collapse, deformation or the like of those parts and has an accurate dimension and accurate shape according to a plan, with high shaping precision and good productivity at a low cost, and an optical shaping apparatus. SOLUTION: In the optical shaping method, and the optical shaping apparatus, a shaped surface comprising an ultraviolet curable resin composition is selectively irradiated with ultraviolet rays of which the wavelength is A±B (nm) [wherein A is a wavelength (nm) of one of a plurality of ultraviolet peaks contained in the light radiated from a light source and B is a number of 0-20] while cutting off light having a wavelength other than that wavelength.
