PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shot blast device capable of efficiently carrying out surface preparation work. SOLUTION: This shot blast device 1 is furnished with a hopper 12 to store an abrasive 11, an abrasive inputting cylinder body 20 to receive supply of the abrasive 11 from an upper part opening part 26, a discharge pipe 50 provided to extend in the diametrical direction from a side part opening part 28 formed on a side surface part of the abrasive inputting cylinder body 20, a cylindrical case 40 to store the abrasive inputting cylinder body 20 and the discharge pipe 50 and a motor 18 to rotate the abrasive inputting cylinder body 20 in the specified direction within a horizontal surface. An injection port 44A to inject the abrasive 11 discharged from the discharge pipe 50 is formed on the case 40. The abrasive inputting cylinder body 20 is formed in a truncated conical shape having a taper surface extended to the outer peripheral side downward from an upper surface part 26.
