PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems, e.g., that, in the conventional servo press machine, the high speed driving of a cylinder itself is impossible, further, the operation of the cylinder and the vertical operation of a press can not be made synchronous, and many troubles are generated in the cylinder. SOLUTION: Regarding the servo press machine, in a press apparatus where a base plate is supported to an apparatus frame, the lower face of the base plate is at least provided with a plurality of servomotors for vertically driving a die, and also, the upper face of the base plate is provided with a press movable part of raising/lowering a die suspended by a gravity compensation cylinder supported to a strut and a press apparatus top plate, the press movable part is provided with a die speeding-up mechanism composed of motors for driving such as servo motors for driving and stepping motors, and a control part where the servo motors for vertically moving a die and servo amplifiers in the die speeding-up mechanism are electrically connected, and are subjected to high speed synchronous control is provided.
