PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair having a backrest with a waist supporting part capable of separately supporting the lumbar spine according to its inclining angle together with a backrest part. SOLUTION: A chair has a waist supporting part to separately support the lumbar spine according to the inclining angle together with a backrest part, and the chair is constituted of a seat part 28, a supporting member 26 for supporting the seat part 28, a first elastic frame 24 fixed to the supporting member 26 at one end, a backrest part 20 formed at the other end of the first elastic frame 24, a second elastic frame 32 formed under the seat part 28, and a lumbar spine supporting part 22 located between the front surface of the lower end of the backrest part 20 and the seat part 28 and fixed to the other end of the second elastic frame 32 at the lower end of the seat part 28.
