PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent acts for acquiring a fraudulent profit by selfishly altering the probability for winning from occurring without requiring an advanced program. SOLUTION: A slot machine is constituted by providing an operation section for altering the settings regarding the probability for winning at a place which is operated by opening a front surface panel for covering the front side of the machine. In the slot machine, a setting alteration confirming means 15 which presents a change of the mode at least being visually discriminable when the setting regarding the probability has been altered is provided. The setting alteration confirming means 15 is returned to the state before the alteration by a resetting operation of a manual resetting section (confirmation button 18) which is provided at a place being operable only when the front surface panel is opened.
