A method for booking or reserving travel tickets involves a display device (10) and at least one user terminal (26), with which the user terminal is brought up on to a display field showing a travel ticket and/or a supplementary ticket, whereupon a communication between the user terminal (26) and the corresponding display field takes place to release the tickets.
