A strip fastening comprises two tapes 2, each being formed, on one .surface thereof, with a carpet of loops 3 and a pluralityof hooks 4, which hooks protrude above the surface of the respective carpet of loops, the hooks on one tape being adapted to engage in the loops of the other. The loops and hooks are preferably formed of a synthetic material, e.g. nylon. The loops may be of a multifilament yarn whereas the hooks may be of a mono-filament yarn. Alternatively, the hooks may be of metal. |
