1,157,425. Two-part couplings. K. A. JURECKI. 7 Aug., 1968 [7 March, 1968], No. 11087/68. Heading H2E. [Also in Division H1] A transistor housing forms part of a bayonet coupling which is so constructed that the parts are interlockable in only one angular position, with the transistor contacts engaging the appropriate counter contacts in the other part of the coupling. This is ensured in the embodiment by providing the housing with two pins set 120 degrees apart which engage corresponding L- shaped slots in a sheet metal socket which is clamped to an insulating base by tabs which pass through the base and are bent over on the reverse side. Each counter contact consists of a pin passing through the base with a coil spring urging its head towards the contacts. |
