The present invention refers to an improved mill for milling nixtamal, producing corn masa and manufacturing out tortillas, toasted tortillas, tortilla-chips, corn snacks among others. The mill comprises a hub having a striped and knurled pattern instead of volcanic stones for performing the milling process; a housing having an inner striped pattern, both the hub and the housing being manufactured out of any metal, casting or steal. Nixtamal grains are introduced into the mill which is rotated and where grains are firstly crushed in a chamber and subsequently kneaded in a second chamber, thereby obtaining corn masa. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a mill for milling nixtamal totally different from those currently available on the market since it has a novel design and construction, which main characteristic is that volcanic stones for performing the milling process are not required, the mill being also capable of processing nixtamal, thereby obtaining corn masa havi ng the same characteristics as corn masa obtained from stone mills but without adjustments and continuous maintenance.
