A power tool 10 comprises a spindle 13 ,a slide (70, fig 9) and an alignment guide 30 . The spindle 13 is attached to the power tool 10 and operably supported relative to a work piece 26 wherein the spindle 13 defines an axis of operation 20 for the power tool 10. The slide (70, fig 9) is moveably attached to the power tool 10. The alignment guide 30 is secured to the slide and has a first laser 40 and a second laser 41. The first laser 40 projects a first laser beam in a first plane and the second laser 41 projects a second laser in a second plane. The first plane and the second plane intersect along the axis of operation (20, fig 12). The power tool may be a press drill, band saw, lathe, milling machine, multiple spindle drill, gang drill or turret drill. |
