Method and device for registration of two picture data sets

Position is determined of markers in the 3-D data sets in a coordinate system corresponding to one of the data sets, and distance is determined between any two markers and the angle between lines linking a marker and a further two markers. From angles and distances in image data sets a D transform is made. An Independent claim is made for a device for registering two 3-D image sets of a 3-D object and for determining a coordinate transform between the two.
