Method for control and regulation of agricultural processing and spreading machines in which machine specific control data are stored in a computer relating to location and surface. The machine is then controlled using the data stored in the computer and a position signaler is used to generate field coordinate signals that are used to indicate its actual position. It is then controlled based on the actual position data and the stored control data. An Independent claim is made for a method for collecting soil sample from a field.
