High temperature resistant TiOx coating

摘要

High temperature resistant coatings for transparent substrates comprise titanium dioxide and an oxide of another element with a different coordination number. Independent claims are included for: (A) a method for making the coatings by sputtering a mixture of the two oxides from a target on to the substrate; and (B) a method for making them using a CVD process.
