The invention relates to a clamping device for clamping a longitudinal fixing element (2), in particular a Kirschner wire. Said device consists of a screw (3) of height H, at least partially configured from a truncated cone and comprising a cone axis (4) and a conical outer surface (5) with a thread (6), a continuous bore (7) that is coaxial with the cone axis (4) and that houses the longitudinal fixing element (2), a rear end (8) containing means (9) for turning the screw (3) and a front end (1). The front end (1) of the screw (3) is provided with at least one longitudinal slot (10) of length L, which extends radially into the continuous bore (7) in such a way that the screw (3) can be at least partially compressed in a radial direction.
