INFRARED-REFLECTING POWDER AND USE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a physicochemically stable material for protection against infrared radiation. SOLUTION: The infrared-reflecting powder comprises a spherical hollow resin powder which may be coated with a metal oxide. It is desirable in the spherical hollow resin powder that the powder mainly consists of polyacrylonitrile and that titanium dioxide is used as the metal oxide with which it is coated.
