PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the decrease of the recording speed when a white ink is used in addition to a color ink, and also, to prevent the gradation number of a multiple gradation recording from decreasing in an inkjet recording device. SOLUTION: When an inkjet head using a white ink is used in addition to an inkjet head using a color ink, the number of a driving pulse P at a maximum gradation (a pulse number 7 in an 8 gradation) is set to be the number of the driving pulse P at the one lower gradation (a pulse number 6 in a 7 gradation), and thus, a plurality of the driving pulses P stay within a specified one driving cycle T. Therefore, the decrease of the recording speed can be suppressed. In addition, the decrease of the gradation number in the multiple gradation recording can be prevented from occurring by setting the driving voltage V' for the driving pulse P at the maximum gradation to be larger than the driving voltage at the one lower gradation so that the ink discharging volume at the maximum gradation can be maintained even in that case.
