PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectrum measurement method for measuring the spectrum in a short period of time with a small amount of sampling data. SOLUTION: The method of measurement is constituted of following steps of: making measurement A with a narrow band (step S1); performing the regular Fourier transformation (step S2); repeating the process for superposing by shifting by the observation frequency range till the frequency reaches the objective wide band width (step S3); similarly making measurement B with the narrow band (step S4); to perform the regular Fourier transformation (step S5); repeating the process for shifting the central frequency of the spectrum by the observation frequency range and superposing till the frequency reaches the objective wide band width (step S6); performing the AND process with the spectrum obtained by measurement A and the spectrum obtained by the measurement B (step S7); and extracting the common peak.
