PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an excess increase in computational quantity required for the correction of road data while securing the travel safety of a vehicle based on prestored road data. SOLUTION: A curve estimating part 65 estimates the actual shape (for example, polarity, radius, curvature and depth) of a curve in accordance with the recognition result of a curve recognizing part 61 based on road data and the comparison result of a comparing part 63, and on the basis of the passing status of the curve of its own vehicle while a safety device is operated. A data correcting part 66 corrects the road data of a map data storing part 23 so that the estimated shape estimated by the curve estimating part 65 can be made equivalent to the recognized shape recognized by the curve recognizing part 61. When the estimated shape of an actual curve estimated by the curve estimating part 65 is gentler than the recognized shape of the map curve recognized by the curve recognizing part 61, an operating part 64 performs setting so that the safety device can be made difficult to operate in the next and following operations of the safety device.
