PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a footrest in a chair-type massage machine from becoming large and bulky. SOLUTION: The chair-type massage machine comprises the footrest 1 in a rising/falling manner at the front part of a seat surface part 3. The footrest 1 comprises a body part 10 having a leg placing part 12, and a massage driving part 13 provided in a massaging operation possible manner at the body part 10. The leg placing part 12 has its inner bottom face 15 formed as an inclined face inclining downward to the front from the seat surface part 3 when the footrest 1 is put in a sprung-up state in front of the seat surface part.
