PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the increase in a manufacture cost on the drag knob of a spinning reel. SOLUTION: The knob body 66 of the drag knob 61 has a knob portion 66a, a flange portion 66b, a receiving portion 66c for forming a receiving dent 66e whose rear end is opened, and grooves 66d which penetrate the front and rear sides of the flange portion 66b and are approximately circularly formed by molding a synthetic resin in the longitudinal direction so that the outer circumference of the front portion of the rear end portion of the receiving portion 66c is smaller than the outer circumference of the rear end portion of the receiving portion 66c, and on whose outer circumference portion, a seal member 63 is mounted.
