PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment management device and a communication channel diagnosis device clarifying conditions of the communication channel signal line in a communication channel constructing a computer system and connecting modules mutually for diagnosing the conditions of the communication channel signal line in details in case of a failure. SOLUTION: A diagnosis module 30 acquires information necessary for self-diagnosis from an observation module 40 connected to a data communication channel 10. The diagnosis module 30 performing self-diagnosis and the observation module 40 are connected together via a diagnosis communication channel 20 for exchanging information for diagnosis.
