The device has an axial deforming unit (6) and a pressure fluid providing device, where the pressure fluid is provided between one of ring shaped component e.g. bearing inner ring, and a shaft. The shaft is provided in a housing and two bearings are provided. The axial deforming unit comprises two plates that are held in a defined axial distance from one another. A valve is provided to allow the fluid to flow in one direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling and disassembling a bearing ring arrangement.
