METHOD OF MEASURING CHOLESTEROL IN REMNANT-LIKE LIPOPROTEINS
摘要

It is intended to provide a method of highly sensitively measuring cholesterol in remnant-like proteins in a sample by a simplified procedure and a measurement reagent therefor. A method of measuring cholesterol in remnant-like lipoproteins which comprises treating a test sample containing lipoproteins with cholesterol esterase and cholesterol oxidase or cholesterol dehydrogenase and measuring the hydrogen peroxide or the reduced coenzyme thus formed to thereby measure cholesterol in the lipoproteins, characterized in that a cholesterol esterase having an activity rate of lipoprotein lipase to cholesterol esterase (i.e., lipoprotein lipase activity/cholesterol esterase activity) of from 12 to 7000 is employed.
