<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and an apparatus for a drink bottled in a plastic bottle which can reduce the wall thickness and the weight of the plastic bottle while maintaining the vertical and lateral compressive strengths of the plastic bottle necessary for transporting the drink bottled in aplastic bottle, and the vender strength of the plastic bottle necessary for sales of the drink via a vending machine. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the drink bottled in the plastic bottle comprises a bottle sterilizing process for sterilizing at least the inner face of the plastic bottle, a drink sterilizing process for sterilizing the drink, a filling process for filling the sterilized drink into the sterilized plastic bottle at a temperature of 1-30°C, a sealing process for sealing the plastic bottle filled with the drink with a sterilized cap, and a bottle positive inner pressure maintaining process that is executed before the sealing process to keep the inner pressure of the plastic bottle positive after the sealing process.
