METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETECTING FLAT PANEL DISPLAY DEVICE BY VISUAL MODEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting a flat panel display device by a visual model, and to provide its device.

SOLUTION: The device includes a difference recognition generating system by hardware or software when the defect of nonuniformity appears, which is present in the flat panel display device; a photographing system to be used for obtaining the image screen of a test panel; a background simulation system for obtaining a reference image; and an information detection generating system for generating detection reference information. The method includes a process for capturing the image of the test panel; a process for adjusting the captured image and generating a test image and the reference image; a process for generating the test image and the reference image by the stream of recognition generation having the processes of a front end processing, image information estimation and image information matching; a process for generating a detection chart and a detection numerical value by finally collecting respective kinds of pieces of test information; and a panel quality determining process for determining image quality in the flat panel display device by the use of the detection chart and the detection numerical value.
