PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical signal transmission apparatus for preventing spurious radiation caused between a flexible wiring board and a housing wherein an optical transmission / reception section and an electronic circuit board are arranged.

SOLUTION: A flexible part 48 interconnecting a rigid board 29 for at least transmitting or receiving an optical signal and a rigid board 32 for processing a digital electric signal is located on an insulation member 120 provided to a bottom side of the housing 42. Since a return current flowing through the flexible part 48 does not flow to the housing 42, no spurious radiation is caused.
