PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor provided with a rotation prevention mechanism capable of arbitrarily making the turning radius of a movable scroll small. SOLUTION: The movable scroll 12 revolves when turning force of an external power is transmitted to a scroll revolution mechanism. Although rotation force is applied to the movable scroll 12 when the movable scroll 12 revolves, the rotation force is transmitted to a movable pin 21 and the movable pin 21 turns around an axis of a projecting restriction member 22. Consequently, rotation force of the movable scroll 12 is converted to turning motion of the movable pin 21 to prevent rotation of the movable scroll 12. Turning radius of the movable scroll 12 can be made small by installing a projection receiving hole 22a close to an axis of the projecting restriction member 22. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
