PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a user changes display by selecting and setting an arbitrary icon from among predetermined icons in a conventional portable terminal device, however, it is troublesome for the user to do it since the user has to execute operation for selecting and specifying one candidate from among a plurality of icon candidates. SOLUTION: The portable terminal device has a scenario type icon system in which some of a plurality of the stored scenario files are transferred to a scenario file holding part corresponding to the selection or the like of icons and executed as an active scenario file. The manner how to change the display of the icons is described in the scenario file. Consequently, it is not necessary for the user to execute the operation for selecting and specifying one candidate from among the icon candidates even if it is the display change for a plurality of the icons.
