PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic stop control device for an internal combustion engine for getting an optimum automatic stop opportunity while securing sufficient electric power for operating a staring device upon restart with a travel history. SOLUTION: The automatic stop control device comprises a means (Step S109) for detecting the existence or not of the travel history of a vehicle after starting the internal combustion engine mounted on the vehicle and deleting the existence of the travel history to eliminate the travel history when such a non-establishment period is kept for a predetermined period that at least one of predetermined stopping conditions of stopping the internal combustion engine is not established, and a means (Step S110) for automatically stopping the internal combustion engine when all of the stopping conditions are established and the existence of the travel history is detected.
