A light box has at least four basic molded parts (2a-2d) and their geometric dimensions of the basic frame can be matched by exchanging at least two moldings (2a-2d) to the dimensions of the surface materials to be used. At least one fixture rail (4) is formed in the basic frame (2), in order to releasably fix the light source (5), in which (4) is variable in length and thus adaptable to any change of the geometric dimensions of (2) to guarantee optimal illumination by variation of the number and/or position of (5) at (4).
